The Hurley Ceramic Particle Filter can be used separate from The Protector, and can be used for particle control only. It can also be used with the fluoride filter as a pre-filter. Some things removed or reduced by the ceramic filter include dirt, sediment, cholera, typhoid, salmonella, serraria, and E-Coli up to 99.99%. The cartridge is washable, so maintenance costs are very low!

The manufacturer recommends you use just clean water & a soft brush to clean the cartridge. Do not contaminate the inside of the cartridge during cleaning or installation.

We recommend our Solutions4You Commercial grade cleaning solution if you choose to use a cleaning solution, to maintain this cartridge; and should be done at least every 6 months. Wash your hands after cleaning the cartridge & reinstallation.

Ceramic cartridge should be replaced every 2 years.
